Read about Doctrine of the Church

The only basis of our Faith is the Bible, God’s infallible written Word, consisting of the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments. We believe the Bible to be God’s inspired Word, and that it was written without error in the original manuscripts. We accept it as the supreme and final authority in all matters on which it speaks.
We accept those doctrinal teachings on which historically speaking, there has been general agreement among Christians.
Our statement of Faith shall be the fundamental truth of Christianity embracing the following:
THE BIBLE
We believe the Bible is inspired by God, the product of Holy men of old who spoke and wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. II Tim. 3:16, I Thess. 2:13, II Pet. 3:21
THE GODHEAD
We believe the godhead is eternally co-equal and co-existent in three persons; not three Gods but one ; not one person but three namely the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Gen. 1: 26, Mark. 12: 29, Deut. 6: 4, Math. 28: 19, Phil. 2: 6, Job. 10: 30, I Sam. 9: 6.
JESUS CHRIST
We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. Thus we uphold His absolute deity as well as His complete humanity; two natures but one undivided person. Luke. 1: 30-35; John 1: 1; Heb. 2: 9-16; Phil. 2: 5-8; Heb. 1: 5-12.
HIS SINLESS LIFE
He lived a sinless life, and voluntarily atoned for the sins of man by dying on the Cross as His substitute thus satisfying divine justice and accomplishing salvation for all who trust in Him.
THE RESURRECTION
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ and that He ascended into Heaven where He is now seated at the right hand of God, the position of power and authority. We believe in the bodily resurrection of all the dead. Dan. 12: 2, Rom. 8: 34, Mark. 12: 36, Mark. 14: 62, I Cor. 15: 3-4, Phil. 2: 8-11, Acts. 2: 33, Luke. 22:69, Heb. 8: 1, Rev. 20: 11-15.
LORDSHIP
We confess the Lord Jesus Christ and no other , as Head of the church, and as our Lord. Eph. 1: 22-23, Eph. 4: 15-16, col. 1: 18-24
THE SECOND ADVENT OF CHRIST
We believe that the Lord Jesus will manifest Himself in glory, majesty and power and in physical presence. This is the second coming of Christ and the blessed hope of the church. Matt. 24: 30, Luke. 21: 27, I Cor. 15: 51-53, II Thess. 1: 7-10, Rev. 22: 7, I Thess. 4: 13-18.
MAN HIS FALL AND RECEMPTION
Man is a created being (Gen. 1: 26), made in the likeness and image of God, but through Adams’s transgression and fall, sin came into the World. Thus every individual has sinned and is guilty before God. Man is by nature depraved and incapable of saving his own soul (Rom. 3: 10, 23, Eph. 2 : 8-10). The Lord Jesus, by His life, death resurrection and ascension, has made available to all mankind the forgiveness of sins and eternal life. These blessings are made personally real to the individual, nay by works, or by any personal merit in themselves but by faith alone, which is accompanied by repentance.
THE NEW BIRTH
We believe in the necessity of the work of the Holy Spirit in the New , which makes a repentant sinner a child of God being baptized by the Holy Spirit into the body of Christ. John 1: 1-13, II Cor. 5: 17, John 3: 3-8, I pet. 1: 2-25, I Cor. 12: 13.
THE CHURCH
We believe that the true church consists of the community of true believers in the Lord Jesus Christ who by faith have has their sins forgiven and been regenerated by the Holy Spirit. We believe in the fellowship of all true believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, recognizing that the true church is not confined to any one denomination. Hebr. 23: 23-24, I John 1: 7, Eph. 3: 3-10, I Cor. 1: 9, Eph. 4: 3-6, I Cor. 10: 32.
WATER BAPTISM
We believe that baptism in water is by immersion and is a direct commandment of our Lord and is for believers only. Matt. 28: 19, Rom. 6: 4, Col. 2: 12, Acts. 8: 36-39.
THE LORD’S SUPPER
We believe in the breaking of Bread as Commanded by our Lord Jesus Christ and as practiced by the Early Church. I Cor. 10: 16-17, Acts 20: 7, I Cor. 11: 23-32.
SANTIFICATION
We believe in the doctrine of sanctification as a definite yet progressive work of grace, commencing at the time of the new birth and continuing until the consummation of salvation. Believers should earnestly persue holiness by walking in obedient to God’s word and through faith and submission to the Holy Spirit. Hebr. 12 : 14, Matt. 5:48, I Pet. 1: 16, Hebr. 6: 1, Phil. 3: 11-14, I Thess. 5: 23-24.
BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the baptizer in the Holy Spirit and that this baptism , as a distinct experience from the New Birth is promised to every believer. Matt. 3: 11-14, I Thess. 5: 23-24.
DIVINE HEALING
We believe in the healing for physical ills of the human body and is brought by the power of God through the prayer of faith and the laying on of hands. It is procided for in the atonement of Christ, and it is the privilege of every member of the church today. Mark 16: 18, James 5: 14-20, I Pet. 2: 24, Matt. 8: 17.
SPIRITUAL GIFTS
We believe in the orderly manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit and that God has never removed the gifts referred to in I Cor. 12, 13, 14.
PRIESTTHOOD OF ALL BELIEVERS
Each individual believer has full and equal access to God through our Lord Jesus Christ as a believer priest. I Pet. 2: 1-9, Rev. 5: 9-10.
THE MINISTRY
The ascended Christ has given various ministries to the church and each of these exists for the strengthening of and is essential to the welfare of the church. They are serforth in Eph. 4; 11, I Cor. 12: 28 and elsewhere.
JUDGEMENT
We believe that the living and the dead will be judged , it being understood that the believer’s condemnation was born by our Lord Jesus in His redemptive work . John 5: 24, 28-29.
